Guest guest
Wow, I did not know this! Our Unlce Funny was here last week, and he was commenting on how many things did have MSG in them. I thought, well, yeah, Ramen Noodles and such, but from my old premade food label reading days, I did not find MSG in too many things. Taco seasoning was common to find MSG in, but the name " Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein " rang a bell. I no longer buy many of the foods that come with labels to read so I am not sure if i will catch wind of this. Do you have a source besides this article that will give a second source that MSG has other names? I always like to double check before going on a campaign. Crap, I had steak at Friday's on Saturday. (Do you know that stuff, " I Can't Beleive It's Not Butter? " Thanks, GI Joy got an extreme haircut and died it fiery copper! Drop down and give me 50. The 's soups, the Hostess Doritos, the Lays flavored potato chips, Top Ramen, Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper, Heinz canned gravy, Swanson frozen prepared meals, Kraft salad dressings, especially the 'healthy low fat' ones. The items that didn't have MSG had something called Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, which is just another name for Monosodium Glutamate. It was shocking to see just how many of the foods we feed our children everyday are filled with this stuff. They hide MSG under many different names in order to fool those who catch on.
