Guest guest Posted August 21, 2004 Report Share Posted August 21, 2004 I never tried soda for heartburn. I think it might work more on a systemic basis. I use it to alkalinize my acidic water. But you need the acid (vinegar or HCL) to digest your food properly and then your system should stay in an acid/alkaline balance.
