Hello everyone in this great group! Can someone please help me or guide me in

the right path.

I just got insurance and my Reumatologist is on the plan. Basically I have been

on Vioxx, Celebrex, Bextra and also over the counter anti-inflamitoratory

medications. When I am in a cycle naturally I have to have injections in my

neck and shoulders just to make it through the day. Sometimes they are not

helpful.

This past time I began a cycle of pain and severe spasms in October of 2003 and

just this past week I am just feeling better. I am completely fused from the

lowest part of the spine to the 3rd vertebra in my neck. This last episode is

the longest that I have ever been in in my life. Very painful and most

uncomfortable.

I told my doctor when I went to have injections that I understood how people in

this type of pain commit suicide. I explained to him that I just wanted him to

understand how I felt.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I might ask my doctor when I visit him

next? I am think ing of asking him to get in embroil and I also want to have

complete bloodwork and x-rays. My insurance will cover everthing, please advise

on procedures, test and drug etc. that I might ask him for..

best regards to everyone

bob
