Teff grain?

I've been invited out to an Ethiopian restaurant with friends. I phoned

and

all of thier meals are served on a sour dough like bread made with

" teff " ,

which is a grain grown in Ethiopia. Does anyone know if teff is neutral

or

avoid? Here is a link

Just make sure that the restaurant doesn't also add wheat flour. To my great

dismay, I have found that many US versions of ethnic restaurants will use wheat

because it's easier and cheaper.

Thank you for this thought! Same happens in Canada! I phoned the restaurant

and they said if I let them know when I was coming they would make mine 100%

teff.
