Guest guest Posted September 2, 2004 Report Share Posted September 2, 2004 Yes, honeydews are still avoids, and cantaloupes still are too, but in America canatloupes aren't cantaloupes, so what we buy at the store when we pick up a cantaloupe is really a neutral muskmelon, real cantaloupes don't have the netting texture on the skin. melons How about honeydews are they still avoids? Just Cantaloupe!If the Cantaloupe is good and cold (right out of the fridge) and you don't blend so long that it warms up, you get a delicious Cantaloupe Milk Shake!)If some of the Cantaloupe is frozen and it is mixed with Cantaloupe that is not frozen, you can make a "Cantaloupe Ice Cream"! (one cup of not frozen mixed with about 3 cups of frozen)I've done the same thing (you could call them ice creams or sorbets) with Watermelon and also with Carrot juice.
