Both of these escalate as your dose is increased. This is in part why, more physicians choose Celebrex ahead of Vioxx. Certainly, both of these things can happen with Celebrex but not as often. There have been 2 large studies comparing Celebrex and Vioxx and both showed Celebrex to be safer. Guest guest Posted December 18, 2002 Report Share Posted December 18, 2002 dear dave , thanx so much for the links . my poor brother has had such a terrible time of it with this wretched disease . as bad as i have it hes much worse .i personally cant take any nsaids at all as ive had so many gi bleeds (5 in the past three months ) so i have to stick with mtx and oxycontin i wish i had other options but my diagnosis was delayed for so long that so much structural damage was done . the best i can hope for is to prevent further damage . thanks again for the links i will pass them on to my brother ,they are much appreciated !! ....my love to all and wishes for a blessed and peace filled christmas .......................nancy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
