I recommend you try to avoid using antibiotics. Are you following the

appropriate BTD? Have you read the section on candida in LR4YT on page 171?

Don

Diane Petoskey's candida diet?

Is anyone familiar with nutritionist Diane Petoskey's candida diet? I

stumbled onto this from an email list:

CandidaOvergrowth/

The woman who moderates this list combines Petoskey's recommendations

with the blood type diet. It's easier for type O's as it's a low car,

high protein diet.

Petoskey strongly recommends Shaklee brand supplements. She has a

disclaimer that she doens't sell or profit from them. It makes me a

little uncomfortable though, to have such a strong bias for one brand.

I dunno, maybe they are good supplements. I know you have to be careful

about supplements, there's alot of them that are no good. I do like

someone to research which supplements work best.

I've been tested postive for candida, and I am a sugar addict and I've

had to take a bunch of antibiotics, and I have alot of the symptoms, so

I think i must have it.

Anyway, I might do a type O version of her candida program. Petoskey

doesn't seem to recommend the BTD herself, but what she recommends goes

with type O very easily.

The books I have on candida diets are vegetarian oriented.

Has anyone done a candida diet here? Is anyone familiar with Diane

Petoskey?

Thanks, Tamara
