Guest guest
HI , many different kinds of headache. I call it Migraine when it is also affecting my stomach and is one sided. The trigeminal nerve is affected so not only is the headache behind the eye but the whole side of th head is totally tightened up. I can feel that happen before the headache even starts...sometimes for days. I take a lot of magnesium to help relax it but it doesn't. Lately I have taken a bit of Robaxacet to try to relax those muscles. For years I had chronic migraine and unfortunately took (was given) every prescription med known to man that could improve the condition. What I really needed was to be on the right diet and have some healthy lifestyle changes. I usually have a migraine about every 3 months but sometimes get a rash of headaches (daily) in a row going on for several weeks. That is when I know that something is out of whack in my life. Sometimes it is obvious what too. Migraine comes as a letdown response to too much stress ...or excitement for that matter. Other headaches are related to dietary indiscretions and then I know to tighten up the program again...drats. I also have had the waundering headaches that for a few hours will be on one side and then later on the other - again mostly frontal. They may be related to sinus and I have started a homeopathic nose spray to see if that helps. I occasionally take some Ibprofen for severe headache and sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. But always it messes up my stomach and I get reflux something terrible so I don't do very often. Any ideas re what to take or do would be appreciated. Guest guest
Behind left eye - zinc Behind right eye - iron Lower sinuses - potassium/sodium, adrenals Back of the head - choline (effected by coffee drinking) Of course beyond all of this is: emotional troubles/problems. Start treating migranes/CFS/muscle aches etc. with that in mind. If you are not happy, & be honest with yourself, then make some changes. That way you are working on the cause and not the symptoms. Hope this helps. Love Re: Pain relief for Type Os - headaches HI , many different kinds of headache. I call it Migraine when it is also affecting my stomach and is one sided. Guest guest
Thanks, as always....Yes, there are emotional troubles and problems....and you are right about dealing with them. Am working on it but some hard times with the big issues ie probable cancer recurrence in hubby and stroke with my dad. I do react emtionally and feel it physically. Have a hard time with insomnia too at times like this - again a stress problem. Ann ----- Original Message ----- From: Dekany Of course beyond all of this is: emotional troubles/problems. Guest guest
Interesting! How does it work? Does it change your pH or what? Does it get soaked intothe body or pull something out? Just curious! Thanks again. Re: Pain relief for Type Os - headaches Thanks, as always....Yes, there are emotional troubles and problems....and you are right about dealing with them. Guest guest
This is for you and everyone else with insomnia. 2 cups Epsom salt 2 cups sea salt 1 heaping tablespoon of potassium gluconate from NOW brand. Soak in warm water for 45 minutes. Donations are welcome! :-) Love Re: Pain relief for Type Os - headaches Thanks, as always....Yes, there are emotional troubles and problems....and you are right about dealing with them. Guest guest
Very interesting and I will get the book. Although I eat a lot of veggies I think I need more potassium. Whenever I have supplemented it I have felt better....may try it again. Also I eat a banana almost every day...feel the need for it or maybe I just like bananas. Re sodium...I never remember to add salt and don't think there is much in my diet...no prepared foods. I have quite low blood pressure and could use some. So I will read the book with interest. And get myself the sea salt and potassium gluconate to add to the Epsom salts. Thanks again. Guest guest
The 2 most needed minerals are potassium/sodium. It gets soaked into the body. To learn more about the importance of minerals, get the book ULTIMATE HEALING SYSTEM by DONALD LePORE Re: Pain relief for Type Os - headaches Interesting! How does it work? Guest guest
Heidi and others have said to drink 1/2 your body weight. For each litter add a pinch (1/16 teaspoon) of sea salt or lemon juice. That might help with your sodium intake. Guest guest
Your answer is intriguing, as I used to have chronically low hemoglobin levels that prevented me from giving blood, which improved by eating more red meat. I also have migraines that start in the right eye. I don't have them very often now (because I divorced 120 pounds of yapping chihuahua, LOL), but if I don't catch them with ibuprophen they are very painful. What sort of iron can I take? Richmond, Virginia Behind left eye - zinc Behind right eye - iron Lower sinuses - potassium/sodium, adrenals Back of the head - choline (effected by coffee drinking)
