Guest guest
If I was unhappy with my rheumatologist, I would be hard pressed to get another opinion from a different rheumatologist (luckily, I am happy). Can you get a second opinion? Hey , My primary reason for selecting the Rheumatoidologist that I did was b/c he knows the connection between Crohn's and arthritic conditions. I heard him speak at a Crohn's seminar and he is very knowledgeable on this connection. So when these symptoms arose I figured he would be the most logical Rheumatoidologist to see. I have only seen him 3 times so far and right now my feelings about him are mixed. Part of me is extremely discouraged (but I am not sure it is with him or with the fact that my body isn't showing any signs/symptoms that are obvious for a Dx), and part of me is thinking there has to be something else he can do/try. The idea of the 2nd opinion was his, thinking maybe HE is overlooking something with the tests that he already ran. He does want me to discuss all this with my Gastro on the 29th when I go for my next infusion, to see if he has any suggestions on all this. So at this point I guess I am waiting until then and see what answers I get..... Thanks for the input and suggestion.
