Hi I just joined this list after reading up through the type O diet

in the ER4YT book. I haven't come across the " secretor " info yet so

I am clueless as to what you all are refering to. I had been

following The Carbohydrate Addicts Diet by Drs. Heller until I had

the adjustable gastric band surgically placed in Aug. of this year.

I have lost almost 70lbs since beginning to take responsibilty for

my body/health in 2002. I still wish to lose another 90 lbs. With my

band I find eating enough of a challenege but my trainer recommended

this diet because I can and still eat too much bad food. After

reading the book I was floored at how accurate so much of it sounds

for me. I have always been sensitive to wheat and dairy. But did I

stop eating it? NO! I have also always been susceptible to fungus

and mold allergies. But give up my beloved mushrooms? I shall try! I

am overwhelmed with where to start on this plan. Is there a daily

chart available that I can use to check off when I have consumed

allotments of each food? I think if I could give up the foods that

make me sick I would love my band and my body so much more. Right

now I am mourning the loss of bread and all bread like foods in my

diet after a recent adjustment to my band. But with this new plan to

look forward to...where does bread fit in? Uh huh, so no great loss!

I look forward to learning more from you all and to getting even

healthier than I had been feeling with my -70lbs!

Happy Holidays!
