Guest guest
The secretor info and revised food list is all in the most recent book called " live right 4 your type " . I am new to this as well. I got this latest book from the library (interlibrary loan). This last book is much more medically detailed. It seems to me that D'Adamo is trying to give more medical background to justify his recommendations about the diet in general, as well--in this latest book, and trying to prove himself to others in the medical field. I found this last book a bit too much to handle, as a newcomer to this. It goes into more detail about the body's processes and the impact of certain enzymes or other " things " than I am ready to read about at this point. Because I am so new to it I just want the basics and to get a gist for what to eat and not eat. With that said, I am thinking more and more that I should do the secretor test now and then follow the food lists as outlines in " Live Right... " rather than go by ER4YT food lists which are not as specific... Live right also goes into psychology a little and puts personality traits to the blood types and also gives stress relieving ideas by type. Also just so you know the " food beverage and supplement list " (isbn 0-425-18309-2) book for 0 is based on the 1st book ER4YT and does not include secretor info. The data in that book is reprinted from ER4YT and has very scaled down general info about the diet. I can see if someone didn't buy the first book (such as borrowed it from the library) and wanted to own a food list they could buy this little book ($5.99 paperback) instead. Guest guest
Actually the little food list books are basically based on the same revised food lists that are in the LR4YT, not the older original food lists that are in ER4YT. However, they were compiled to be secretor status neutral. In other words, if you don't know your secretor status then you can use the lists in the little food books. If you know your secretor status you use the appropriate secretor/non secretor food list in LR4YT. However, I went through my little Type O food book carefully and I don't remember seeing any significant changes compared to the secretor food list in LR4YT. So I find the little food list book works great for me as an O secretor. There may be a bigger difference between the food lists in the little book and the secretor food list in LY4YT for some of the other blood types.
