Guest guest
Well, I had my x-rays done today, and although they showed some mild degeneration, my chiro said everything looked fairly good for a person my age. Yet again, no obvious explanation for my joint pain. It's so frustrating to have my joints hurt like this, yet have everything come back " normal " . It makes me look like such a hypochondriac in the eyes of the doctors. Maybe I should just let it go and leave well enough alone, since the 2 tests I've had done were considered normal. I've learned to live with the chronic muscle and tendon pain, so I imagine I could learn to live with joint pain too. I hope they don't pull Bextra off the market though, because it's the only anti-inflammatory that's been even remotely helpful for me so far. As bad as my tendons and joints feel now, I can't imagine what they would feel like if I wasn't taking Bextra! I want to say thanks to everyone who has responded to me, both on and off the forum. You've been a great help to me, with information and support. Whether or not I have a spondy is still a big mystery, and will probably remain that way unless things take a dramatic turn for the worse...which I hope never happens. But at least I can take the things I've learned and start applying them to my regimen, and be as pro-active as possible, so thank you for that!
