Eat protein and vegetables and stay away from all grains, dairy, and nightshade vegetables for a couple of weeks. A rule of thumb is that you should eat 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh. Assume that red meat, chicken, and fish have 7.5 grams of protein per OZ of meat. SO, if you weight 100 pounds, you need to eat 100 grams of protein or about 13 OZ of meat. Eggs are neutral for everyone. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel. Go to the following site if you need to find out if a food is an avoid. Enjoy. Guest guest
Greetings to all I am still new and very confused. But first let me give you this link for the Naturopath help. http://nt3.healthkeepers.net:8080/trinity/search.html This is a list of the graduates from Trinity Collage. Now, I am confused because I have read the book and am a O type African American. It the list of eggs it says to avoid if I remember correctly. My confusion is mostly because of my race I think?? Are there any other African Americans on the list or a list that deals with race specifics for O or can this list become more race specific when relating to O? Oh and while I am at it I also have diabetes. Natures is doing her best to make us well, she exists for no other end. http://www.a-healing-village.com
Guest guest
Hello, A later book of Dr D'Adamo's called Live Right 4 Your Type has listings per food group, by decent. For those of African decent 1-4 eggs are allowed if you are a secretor which the majority of the people are. It also shows that African Secretors can have 0-1 seving of milk, yogurt, or cheese a week. you might want to check this book out of the library and see if you need it. If you do, go to the Errata page at www.dadamo.com made to correct errors that were found in the book. Also, in the book he wrote called The Blood Type Encyclopedia, he has a discussion area for Diabetis as well as protocols. He also has a new book out on Diabetis. In the meantime, we will be glad to answer any questions you might have. Guest guest
To be more specific that is 1-4 eggs per week for secretors of African ancestry. It was in the Type O List book that Dr. D. wrote Type Os of African ancestry should eliminate dairy foods and eggs altogether because they tend to be even more difficult for them to digest. Guest guest
Not all neutral foods are equal. For instance a neutral meat like chicken or turkey is much more beneficial then a neutral grain. Also look at the food category frequency guidelines. Os should not be eating grains very often and less, or none, is better. Essene bread is definitely the best item to eat in the grain category.
