Guest guest
Glad you decided to join in the conversation. Yes, I have seen the Bubba Burger products in my local stores, although I have never bought any. I think you already answered your own question. You know that ’s Lean Beef is at least free of antibiotics and growth hormones. You know you should be looking for grass fed beef, organic grass fed would be even better. Bubba Burgers are none of the above. They are made out of standard raised beef. Why are you buying Bubba Burgers, taste and convenience or for good health? The choice is yours. Do what works for you. Don Bubba burgers Hello everyone. I haven't posted for a long time...have been lurking consistently and really continue to enjoy everyone's conversation and insights. I've been on BTD 10 months now. Hurray! I started off " too compliant " and couldn't keep it up to that degree and...but I'm still here and working on it(a major accomplishment not to have quit) so thanks!! I'm here for the long haul real progress. I still have not sought out a source for grass fed beef, but usually buy " 's Lean " which is at least free of antibiotics and growth hormones. However, I have found a new product that is sooo tasty and really makes eating protein easier...frozen Bubba burgers which you must grill or skillet in their frozen state, so they take no prep. They are so moist, and a webiste I found said there are no artificial fillers or preservatives, etc, and a big chart stating what kind of meet actually goes into them compared to other types of hamburger...the idea being that they are made from " all muscle " so don't have any other cow stuff in them. They have angus style, low fat, onion, traditional. Has anyone heard of these or eaten these? Any concerns? Thanks,
Guest guest
Thank you for your frankness, Don. I guess I'm buying them because my priority right now is to stay eating as close to ERFYT as I can...i.e. eating enough protein, no dairy, no rice, grains or substitutes. I need a lot of help to do that, and the convenience of this beef source seems to help me now. You have encouraged me to put that choice in perspective though, and while I can own that choice now, its with the knowledge that later I eventually want to work towards better choices. Not the standards all you old timers are used to, but unfortunately, " knowing " what the best choice is, is not enough to compel me to good health....it will be someday in its own time. I buy organic veggies...maybe finding a better beef source wont be as complicated as I imagine. Guest guest
, I was just trying to confirm that you know what the ultimate goal is and is just up to you to make the decision based on your own situation what works for you at that point in time. I was certainly not trying to judge you. I want you to know I make the same kind of decisions all the time. Sometimes cost, shopping convenience, availability, taste, health issue, etc. is the deciding factor. It has just been this year that I found an online source of grass fed beef that works for me, and my situation. Prior to that I was trying to buy ’s Lean Beef, Maverick, and Buffalo as much as possible, which wasn’t all the time. I keep searching for what is going to solve my particular health issues. That search is what drives my priorities most of the time. Don Re: Bubba burgers Thank you for your frankness, Don.
