Way of Living, NOT a 'diet'

I never eat any avoids (OK, maybe like once or twice a year). The best

way to do it is to always eat at home and only eat food that you cook

yourself. If you can't come home for lunch, then pack a lunch. Eating

out should be a once a week treat, not a daily occurrence. Even then, I

find it relatively easy to be 100% compliant when dining out. It's best

to eat simply because there is less chance of them sticking sketchy fats

into your food. I often specify " olive oil and butter only please—no

sketchy fats. " Steak, chicken, fish, rice, broccoli and/or spinach, and

salad are nearly always available. I would argue that we actually have

more dietary choices here than in most areas of the world. It all

depends on where you look.

Cheers,

P.S. I stopped listening to 'Fat America' long ago.
