After I contracted Reiter's

from the Hep B vaccine, I was told that in 98' a major nurses union

petitioned OSHA to post the warnings of the Hep B vaccine. That if

you were HLA-B27+ there was a high chance that you could contract

Reiter's and other forms of reactive arthritis

Oh My Gosh! You are the first person, I have heard from that can link this

to the Hep B VAccine!

In 98 in San Diego there was a Rheumatolgy convention, and a study in France

was presented that had linked Hep B with increased Arthritis in

Adolecents/young adults.

We believe the Hep B vaccine is what caused Adriennes Arthtritis. I WILL not

allow her to have any more of those vaccines, even though when a doctor goes

through her chart, they notice she only has had one and suggest she 'finish

the series'

In the study that was presented, it said that the immunization could be safe

for infants/toddlers in that their immune systems are not as developed as

adolecents and adults. And the immunizations are designed around that immature

immune system, NOT the more developed mature system. So... hopefully your

child/children will be ok. I will cetainly pray so!

I am very interested in what you know about the Nurses and OSHA. I have only

heard/read about the Rheumatology convention and findings/presentations there.

This is so very interesting. As, it is amazing to me how many many people

around our area seem to have come down with symptoms/diseases under the reactive

arthritis umbrella. My gosh, it would be interesting to find out if these

people had the Hep B vaccine and how long after the symptoms began.
