WELL, that got MY attention and I just bought a bag of flaxseeds. Guess I'll give it to the neighbor I hate.
Guest guest
I was talking to someone at NAP a couple of months ago about the fibersol-2 in the protein powder. I can't remember his name at the moment. Anyway as part of the discussion about fiber, he said a couple of things about flax that I thought were noteworthy. One, men should not use regular flaxseed oil because they discovered its use produces a higher risk of prostate cancer. High lignan oil would possibly be OK. I don't know if it only applies to type O men or all men. Who has Dr. D's new cancer book? Is this discussed in the book? Two, that you could just soak whole flaxseeds overnight and consume them, no grinding is necessary. Has anyone tried this? I did it a couple of times and I think I had an unusual reaction. I became constipated, which is very unusual for me. I need to try it again and see what happens. Don

Flaxseeds is what he recommended that men use instead of the flaxseed oil. Don
