Zopiclone/Hydromorph Contin

Hi Rick and All,

Thanks for the site on Zopiclone. I only tried it for a month. I didn't

find it very hepfull for sleep.

My dilema is... if I take Codeine it keeps me awake and if I don't take

Codeine the pain keeps me awake or wakes me up. My doctor thought that I

should try Hydromorph Contin 3 MG (Hydromorphone Hydrochlor). Well to make

a long story short I tried the new drug for two days and quit as I had a

headache from hell. For two days and nights I didn't leave my dark bedroom

except to get a drink or fresh ice for my ice pack. I also was seeing

double when I tried to watch tv or read. My hubby said one of my pupils was

larger than the other, which has happened in the past when I have had a

headache.

I am now back to taking Codeine until after Christmas then if I get brave

enough I will try it again. If I get another headache I will not take it

anymore.

My rheumatologist is thinking about trying Remicade as the Enbrel didn't

work as well after I stopped (for surgery) and then restarted it.
