Guest guest
Hi , I just knew I that if I posted that question, I had better be sure I know where my vitamin book is, because someone on the list would surely ask for it! The truth is, when I die, my body will be found 3 weeks later in the house, behind piles of books with little trails weaving through them. Seriously, I have soooooo many books, all jumbled up, I can't locate my handbook at this moment. (This " moment " being equivalent to approximately half an hour of digging around and knocking things over.) I checked amazon.com, and found it. It's The Vitamin Book, by Rich Wentzler. I bought it probably 20 years ago, its just a skinny little paperback, and it is now out of print. Amazon does sell used copies, for as little as $2.80. Also, I noticed in my search under " vitamin " there are over 500 listings, and several newer books that are listed there are in print, and appear to be similar sourcebooks. I have used the book to screen the potassium-rich food list, and other vitamin food lists, for the " O " beneficial foods. It would be too much to put into an e-mail posting, because the food lists are extensive, and there is a lot of O-compliant food out there that is high in potassium. And some is HB, and some is Neutral. My recommendation is to either buy a book, and use it as a cross-reference with the food lists in LR, or, follow Axel's advice and see the website he referred to. I incorporated the potassium-rich foods into my diet so long ago, that I no longer remember which ones they are, so I can't even do an " off the top of my head " type short list.
