Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I took 5 HTp for the first time and I woke up feeling like I was getting a migraine. Is that normal? It went away after a little while. I started getting migraines about 5 years ago. I have not found any particular triggers - they seem to be hormonally (is that a word?) related. I can take Imitrex and this is the only thing that has worked. I have tried to take several herbal remedies but they don't seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks, Colleen
Guest guest
I do not know much about the HTp BUT I do know that when taking anything that detox's your system at all, you must take lots of extra water to flush out the toxins from your body. Did you know that lack of water is one of the MAIN causes of migraines? JK -----Original Message----- Hi Everyone, I took 5 HTp for the first time and I woke up feeling like I was getting a migraine. Guest guest
Thank you , however I don't think lack of water could be my problem. I drink in excess of 100 oz each and every day. > I do not know much about the HTp BUT I do know that when taking anything > that detox's your system at all, you must take lots of extra water to flush > out the toxins from your body. > > Did you know that lack of water is one of the MAIN causes of migraines? > JK > > -----Original Message----- > Hi Everyone, > > I took 5 HTp for the first time and I woke up feeling like I was > getting a migraine. There are some advantages to getting older. I haven't had a head ache for a few years. Used to have bad ones monthly. Guest guest
Hi Colleen, You need to be careful re the 5 HTP. I took it for awhile and then had the Sleep Check test done from NAP and found out that melatonin levels were way off the chart too high and probably also serotonin. Serotonin is part of the migraine problem - I think fluctating levels are the problem so ....this may not be a good idea for you as it is not for me.
