Guest guest
Hi, I've been monitoring this site for a while. It's such an encouragment to know others are flushing! My story- In Dec 99 I had a fasting blood test - routine checkup. My cholesterol was high 230ish but what had my dr concerned was an elevated liver enzyme - GTG 128. She said we'll check it out again in 3/6 months. I started researching elevated liver enzymes on the internet. After establishing the fact that I really wasn't going to die (joke), I decided there must be a link between cholestrol and gall stones and liver enzymes. I came across Hulda 's website and decided to do a flush (wondering if she were a " quack " or if it was for real!) I was a believer after the first flush (Jan 2000). I flushed several hundred " stones " . I did another flush sometime during the spring - great results. In June - I had my liver enzymes checked again - my GTG went up 2 points. In August - off to the liver specialist to see what they knew. I don't drink ever, don't abuse Tylenol, crash diet, no tattoos, etc. - no obvious reason for elevated GTG, so Dr decided to ordered some tests. She ordered a sonogram and blood work. Sonogram was negative - blood work (10 vials and $947 worth) did not turn up anything that would cause elevated GTG (no liver disease, hepatitis, etc). I told dr I thought it was gallbladder/gallstones. Told her about flushes - she is not a believer - she said I must have been flushing " poop " and any gallstones are hard . Since I was having pain in right quadrant she ordered a Hidascan. If that turned out negative, they would do something else (I think it involved a going down throat procedure). If that turned out negative, she would send me back to referring dr. I decided not to have Hidascan - didn't like the idea of radioactive stuff in my veins (full strength cold/allergy medicine makes my heart race). The dr never told me the stuff was radioactive - she just said " chemicals " . Of course, part of my concern is what if it is more than just stones - what if my gallbladder is bad, etc. especially since I have almost constant discomfort in right side - but hey, I figure it took years to accumulate stones, it takes a while to get rid of them! I continue to flush - and monitor this group In Oct I had my cholesterol checked at a health booth - it was 199 - normal. In 10 months time it dropped 36 points! No radical diet change, or increase in exercise, plus I just completed one of the most stressful years of my life. The only thing I can contribute it to is flushing! I am curious to know if anyone else has seen a drop in cholesterol since they've been flushing? I also want to do a parasite cleanse, just haven't done it yet! anyway, " that's my story and I'm sticking to it " ! It's reassuring to know others are flushing and determined to keep their gallbladders and try alternative methods! thanks! clw
