Guest guest
Hi Vicki - 1 can of tuna =33gr of protein. It was an example to balance out the juice. 1oz of any animal protein = 7gr of protein. Healthy eating in a nutshell - 1 EAT SIMPLE! 2 EAT RAW FOOD BEFORE COOKED FOOD 3 DON'T DRINK WHILE YOU EAT. CHEW YOUR FOOD WELL. - IF YOU DO DRINK, DRINK WARM ONLY 4 DON'T MIX FRUITS AND VEGGIES 5 TRY KEEPING PROTEIN AND STARCH SEPARATE (eating meat veggies and some sweet potato in a meal is ok, unless you have a problem with it - you can eat the meat first with the veggies and then eat the sweet potato/squash and see if it makes a difference.) If you are trying to loose weight, eat 5 to 6 small meals. It should be protein veggies and some squash. Drink lots of water and warm herbal teas. Few fruits. Add some flax oil to the first 2 to 3 meals. Following this simple program will gets you as healthy as possible with tons of energy. the question is? Will you follow it? Once a week you can treat yourself to some favorite foods. love http://www.foodforyourblood.com this carb thing..'s reply & digest ? , You said to balance my lemon water with a can of tuna...now this is the confusing part for me...like I mentioned before I have not read all of LR4YT yet so I dont know about food combining yet , but I cant eat tuna unless it has pickles and real mayo and lots of it....I am not much of a seafood eater. But I am hoping that the book will help me figure that part out.Are there any other things I can do about food combining and learning?? also how do I reply to one message when I get the digest form? Thanks Vicki ===== " Lord, help me to be half the human my dog thinks I am. " __________________________________________________

I'm trying to get my mind wrapped around this concept. The ratio (45/35/20) is of more importance to the type O body than the total calorie intake? We should strive to maintain a high protein intake, but if we should happen to over do the carbohydrate intake we should increase the protein intake accordingly to maintain appropriate ratios - EVEN IF that means increasing our total daily calorie intake?
