Guest guest
I don't think this is a case of ostracizing newbies, but people not understanding someone else's sense of humour, not everyone has the same sense of humour we all see something funny in different things but not necessarily in the same things. Having at last caught up on the last two days posts :-) I can see where the 'problem' stems from. I don't think what was said was meant as a ridicule of the question. Though I do hope a sensible answer to the question is forth coming. Guest guest
That is awful. Why would anyone say stuff like that : I understand how you're feelings might be hurt. I read an email from the LR4YT group, that said if you hadn't read ALL of Dr. D's books, you should not subscribe to the LR4YT list. I felt very bad about this, as I have read BOTH ER4YT and CR4YT, and this is a learning process for me (and many others as well). It's unfortunate that when you are new, others who KNOW more, feel entitled to ostracize " newbies " . Sincerely, karen
Guest guest
I have to stand up for (is it Eireen) on this subject. I come to these boards to read about health and blood type diet. We all have different religions, politics and ideas. I believe religion is a personal choice as well as politics and we should be very careful of try to pass our opinions on to others. There are other places on the internet to discuss religion and politics. My time is valuable and I like to read the messageboards to learn about the Blood Type Diet. It takes time to go through the messages and I'm not interested in others religious or political views as I am sure they are not interested in mine. Just felt Eireen was trying to get her point across and didn't necessarily mean to offend anyone. Guest guest
I think they're talking about the pancakes story and some of the comments it generated. Not LR4YT posts. I'm neutral and don't want to enter the fray, myself, but thought it might need clarification? > : > > I understand how you're feelings might be hurt. Guest guest
When has a newbie been ostracized? I haven't seen that occur here! JK To SARAH-re: ridicule : I understand how you're feelings might be hurt. I read an email from the LR4YT group, that said if you hadn't read ALL of Dr. D's books, you should not subscribe to the LR4YT list. Guest guest
Gee I've really missed something here - and I've even read all the posts. Who asked what question that got seemingly ridiculed?? I suppose since we recently had a terrible tragedy in our lives (we feel it from Australia) that things got brought up that wouldn't normally be. Without making any kind-hearted people wrong, maybe we could agree to stick to the subject/s at hand from now on? Everyone agree??
