My naturopath told me to eat my body weight in grams of protein. For example, a person weighing 150 pounds should eat 150 grams of protein every day. Even on a high protein, weight lifters diet, I was just barely coming close. It's a lot of food!! By way of example, the most dense protein food source is a boneless, skinless chicken breast with 27 grams of protein, sadly only neutral for Type Os. One large hard-boiled egg has only 6 grams of protein, 3 oz of beef yields about 20 grams of protein. I suppose that's why is always saying to eat a can of tuna. A can of tuna is actually 2.5 servings, at 13 grams per serving, you get ~33 grams of protein in the can. Add it up. Are you getting your body weight in grams of protein???
