I would suggest you stop eating all saturated fats and hydrogenated fats. Saturated fats are those you get from many sources but mostly it's like the fat that coagulates with the pour-off of bacon. Hydrogenated fats are Essential Fatty Acids that have been damaged by a heat source. It's greatest abuse is found in deep frying foods.

I too was told to schedule a removal of my gallbladder after having had two attacks within three days, both of which sent me to the emergency room. I was told that I had "A" gallstone, which to me meant I had one large stone, but I could never get my doctor or the hospital to let me know definitively whether it was a congestion of stones or just one.

After my doctor told me to schedule an appointment to have my gallbladder removed I, like you, started a very intensive search for information. I did find the information , good and bad, regarding the doing of a flush. My greatest concern was my not having been able to ascertain the suspected size of the stone(s). So, I first avoided all fats, including EFAs before I knew better, and ate only vegetables and fruits for about a month while also taking Gold Coin Grass that I got from Chang.

When I did my first flush I hadn't known of anyone with whom to talk about the process other than . There was no support groups that I could find at that time. My apprehension was nulled the day after the flush when the results showed. It was amazing to say the least. I collected some of the stones but couldn't get my doctor or the hospital to do an analysis of them so they just melted to green glob while exposed to air.

Read some of the archives and I'm sure you'll learn much about the processes. You will find using specific search words will help to narrow the search's results.

I've not had an attack now for over a year. October 23, 1999 was my last sever attack and I happened to be stone free at that time. So, my last attack wasn't my gallbladder, it was my liver because I'd avoided feeding it what it needs to do its work and for it to be healthy. So be sure to get EFAs in the form of Lecithin and Taurine for sure, and in Flax Seed oil and other oils too.

You may very well be able to avoid having to do surgery as there are many good reasons to avoid it and especially at your age. I wouldn't trust an ultrasound for definitive determination of stones. When it comes to surgery, I'd feel much better with the results of an MRI. My MRI did note that not only did I have A stone but I also had a thickened gallbladder too.

Hi na!

Welcome to the group. Our nanny had gallstone problems since she was

13 years old. She was in the hospital emergency room for the pain

many times. One day... 2 1/2 years ago she came to me and told me

she had to have a $6000 operation to remove her gallbladder. I gave

her the FLUSH information and she did a flush immediately.

Yes, this is only ancedotal... She has not had a twinge of pain or

discomfort from her gallbladder since that time. She repeated the

flush 4 weeks later. I kept asking her how she was doing... her

response was that she was getting fat because she coukld eat whatever

she wanted without ANY problems.... Milk gave her a little

diahrea... but lactose seemed to cure the problem. She flushed again

six months ago just to keep the gallbladder clear.

I believe that a young person has a much greater chance of completely

healing their gb... IF they make the right changes to their diet and

flush once a year. Heed Dale's words of wisdom... read as much as

you can from this site...

Healing the gb will not happen for everyone. Calcified stones will

break down and pass in a flush, BUT they are much more difficult to

deal with than sludge! Hopefully you are just full of sludge and it

can easily be removed with a flush

Hi Nan!

The reason I have not had my gb out has much to do about health and

little to do with the pain of surgery. I believe that God gave me a

gb for reason and that if by 42 it is not functioning properly I

should FIRST try to get it in working order, before I take the road

of having it cut out.

Millions of Americans suffer some gb problems and a simple flush can

cure them. Others, need surgery... and this is certainly not the

end of the world! The danger with surgery is that many will go right

back to their old diet and health patterns that created the gb

problems to begin with. Then they will begin to suffer other

ailments... can't cut the liver out of the heart when they get

congested! I see my gb symptoms as a small hint from God to get my

eating habits back to a healthy pattern. The pain is my friend as it

tells me when I am eating something I shouldn't.

I still may have my gb out some day... but I will be much healthier

for trying to keep it! That's why I haven't taken the knife... even

though it is realtively easy.

My advice to Johanna is to FIRST try the healthy cure... as she can

always go for surgery if it fails to heal her.

na,

I've had my gallbladder out a lttle more than a week now. It was

relatively simple surgery, I had a great surgeon, it was out-patient, and

many of the problems I had been dealing with have disappeared. I'm

wondering why so many people suffer so long, doing flushes and counting

stones. I know a lot of people that have that surgery, and do fine.

I have a little problem with the quantity of food I can consume right now,

but I'm told by other thats normal. My doctor says recovery runs

about three weeks. Some people have additional things wrong with

them that still exist after the surgery.
