Cancer nurse 'had relationships with former patients'

A nurse who cared for terminally ill women with cancer had sexual relationships

with their partners after they died.

NMC to investigate nurse accused of 'inappropriate relationships'

A cancer care specialist who was sacked by the hospital in which she worked has

been told her case will be investigated by the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

Sara Dale, 39, of King's Lynn, Norfolk, worked as a nurse at Queen

Hospital in King's Lynn in a post paid for by a cancer charity. She was sacked

in January because of allegations about " inappropriate relationships " with the

widows of patients.

The council, which registers and regulates nurses, is due to begin its

investigation shortly...
