Those that had the gallbladder surgery

I think that those who already had the surgery should stay on the list, to

let the others know how they are doing after surgery. I would also

appreciate if someone who had the surgery could give us a step by step

detailed account about what is done for this surgery. What do they do to

prepare you for the surgery and what supplements to take before and after.

As some of us may have to be faced with this decision after trying so hard

not to have this done, but had no choice.( I hope not).

I heard that a tube is put down the throat during surgery, but I do not know

what this is for as I have never had any kind of surgery. I also heard that

the abdomen is blown up with carbon dioxide so that they can see the GB

better during surgery, but some people are left bloated up like a balloon

after the surgery because of the air that was pumped in and find it hard to

come down back to their origional size abdomen, has any experienced this?

Does anyone have all the correct details of this operation so that we can

know what to expect if that day ever comes?
