Guest guest
Lesa, Please use common sense. Make sure that your condition is not serious (i.e. life-threatening). You can request that an ultrasound be done to see if there is a blockage and have blood tests done to see if you have an infection. You have your child to think about. I've heard not to do the flushes when you are having an attack. Also, make sure that it is your gallbladder and not some other serious condition. See your doctor. Guest guest
It's not always an easy road to take, this flushing, it isn't the cure all for everyone as many can attest who have eventually had to get the surgery. I would tend to believe your problem may be more of a liver problem. I can only hope you're avoiding all the saturated and hydrogenated fats that are so readily available from all kinds of sources. Eating fruit is perhaps one of the best things you can do to get things relaxed. Now don't think by fruit you're going to be limited to apples and oranges. Most anything grown on trees or plants are fruits, so there are avocados, mangos, papaya, tomatoes (I'm sure debated by some), nuts (another debate, but contains EFAs), etc; the list can go on. Fresh is an important word to remember too. Canned fruits are usually pretty dead and only act as volume, bulk, for the intestines, but that's not all bad. It may behoove you too to consider parasites as a possible problem. The liver fluke is reported as being able to cause the same problems as gallstones. So a diet of parasite cleansing my be in order too. One really good source for that is pumpkin seeds, raw or cooked, it doesn't matter. A couple of ounces, in volume, a day can do wonders. There are other things to consider along with all the foods too; Colon cleansing, colloidal silver, oxygen therapies, just to name a few, and 's advice about seeing a Doctor is certainly apropos. Guest guest
Here's a couple of places to learn about the use of oxygen and ozone. http://healingtools.tripod.com/linksi.html#ofs http://www.edelsoncenter.com/ozone_therapy.htm http://www.triroc.com/sunnen/topics/ozonemed.htm http://health./health/alternative_medicine/alternative_therapies/Ox ygen_Therapy And probably the best site for information http://www.oxytherapy.com/ I'm a very strong advocate for oxygen therapies as that's just one of the other things I've done for my liver and gallbladder. Guest guest
Hi , I had an ultrasound done Thanksgiving and there were no blockages. It showed a slight thickening of the wall of my gallbladder and " several " stones. The doctor recommended removal of my gallbladder though he said it can wait since i don't have health insurance. I have not had the condition checked since. I have probably flushed 5 to 100 stones depending on the sizes one counts. The pain in my shoulder blade and under my rib cage are constant...not attacks. I have had those pains since my son was born and thought it was back pain due to having a heavy baby to carry around. I had 4 major gallbladder attacks from August to November of 2000, those that feel like a heart attack for 5-6 hours. I have not had attacks since Thanksgiving. Since then, I have reduced my fat intake though I have not completely eliminated it. I have drunk tons of apple juice. Another positive note is that I have lost 15 pounds. Pounds I have been unable to drop at all since my son was born. I am not sure if this is due to my diet or the stress of discovering I was married to a drug addict who is in jail for charges stemming from crack cocaine use, thereby leaving me broke and alone with a beautiful and very active 15 month old son to handle on my own while trying to find financial assistance, etc. I have been a stay home mom and the pain is preventing me from getting a job at the moment. So I can't be certain whether my pain is all from gallstones or stress, which is why I am not rushing into surgery. This week I will try a fruit diet and see what happens with the pain. I plan to drink juices, water and herbal teas only. It certainly can't hurt. I appreciate everyone's input. I know I will find the answers that are right for me. I really don't have time for surgery, even though I hear it is simple, I was told I shouldn't lift my son for 3 weeks or so if I have the surgery. Also, I need to work so I don't have time to wait too long to heal this naturally. Finally, I don't have time for it to get worse either. Thanks. Guest guest
Dale, I appreciate your information and ideas. I have also been thinking along the lines of paarasites and cleansing surrounding organs. My concern there is that my son stil nurses and I am not sure how safe that would be. I actually bought a iver cleanse product last week at the health food store but then got scared it could affect my son. I am no longer his primary source of nutrition but he does still nurse so I am not sure. Does anyone know how safe the homeo remedies are for nursing mothers? As I posted earlier,I am going to give an all fruit diet a try for a week.. Thank you. Lesa
Guest guest
; Are you able to grip your rib cage and push your fingers in to the area along the rib cage? Or do you find it very uncomfortable or painful at any particular location? You need to be relaxed when attempting this and only press firmly. Guest guest
Lesa, It is not recommended for nursing mothers to take those cleansing products. It is better if you work on your diet at this time. a -----Original Message----- From: Lesa [mailto:AmourSea@...] Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2001 10:13 AM gallstonesegroups Subject: Re: pain in shoulder balde and under ribcage Dale, I appreciate your information and ideas. Guest guest
Lesa, I've been putting heat on the shoulder blade or wherever it hurts when I go to bed each night. It helps. Also, ibuprofen was recommended to reduce inflammation and that helps. Looks like you are better with diet and weight changes. I can't speak to the flushes because I never got that far. As I've mentioned, I wound up with another condition altogether that had the same symptoms as a gallbladder problem. I'm still waiting on the tests results to find out what is really wrong with me. I'm amazed that the pains were the same, and in the same places, but it was something else entirely. The body is pretty interesting. Apples give me pain. I tried apple juice and it made me worse. Everyone's different. Keep hanging in there. I'd like to see you getting some help (relief) with your son and some support (love) for yourself. The stress can't be helping your body. You're going through a lot. Lesa wrote: > > Hi , > > I had an ultrasound done Thanksgiving and there were no blockages. Guest guest
Hi Lesa I can sense you may be in doubt now of what is really troubling you, of when you will be able to get your gallbladder remove (don't hope for removal, please) . This can induce fear and anxiety in you. You might have some emotions that are unconsciously troubling you. You may try kinesiology -to get your emotions, if any located and cleared? Wishing you good health phine -----Original Message----- From: Bramer <kjbramer@...> gallstonesegroups <gallstonesegroups> Date: Tuesday, 23 January, 2001 6:51 PM Subject: Re: pain in shoulder balde and under ribcage >Lesa, > >I've been putting heat on the shoulder blade or wherever it hurts when I >go to bed each night.
