What did he say about your letter? What was his reaction to your explanation of how your physical condition has changed your life? Did he mention anything at all about narcotic use? I would give Ultram a try. I hope it works for you. If not, you're right - time to see somebody else. It might be time to move on anyway if he isn't interested in hearing what your point of view is. I hope you aren't too disappointed.
