Guest guest
I have been drinking water and basically water only for years. I am not overweight. It is rare if I drink less than 64 ounces per day. Yet, I was feeling dehydrated much of the time. Eating high-water-content food seems to quench my thirst more than water with the added benefit of fiber to transport the moisture. (I don't eat enough of them.) I had my blood tested and was told that my cells were not absorbing the water, and consequently, the water wasn't hydrating my cells as much as it could be. Does that make sense to anyone else? Just some water thoughts, Kathleen jacobson@...
Guest guest
I am curious - what would cause your cells to not absorb all the water? Guest guest
It had to do with bowel toxicity which was related to lack of friendly bacteria. When the colon gets built up with the wrong kind of bacteria, it forms an impermeable coating in the colon, which is where nutrients are absorbed. Everything pretty much slides right on through without doing a lot of good. I had been taking powerful vitamins, which must've been able to penetrate to a degree or I wouldn't have stayed so healthy in the face of eating so poorly (corn, potatoes, wheat, ice cream, cheese, etc.). They told me I needed intestinal bacteria and enzymes, which I began taking, although perhaps not as diligently as is needed. I'm glad this topic came up and that you (kan1253 and Arianne) pressed me to dig out the file once again. Thanks. If miracles happen, I'll let you all know. To Health! Kathleen jacobson@... Guest guest
Interesting about cell absorbtion, mine are not absorbing protein, so I am taking enzymes to help this. meg
Guest guest
Even worse, I wouldn't want Fluoride messing with my body/health.
Guest guest
Apparently there's a fair bit of fluoride in tea these days...all the more reason to go organic there too. Found that out on my internet walk-about last night while I was researching water, etc. Warmly, Velma kombucha tea From: rhonwynjennings@...
