Guest guest
Rainey Sue: I know what you mean about a fog. I know memory loss comes with the RA & Fibro but my father also has Alzheimer's and I really am beginning to believe I am getting it. Last month I wrote a deposit down twice in my checkbook, really made an expensive mess, still trying to climb out of. I forget If I have taken my medicine, my words get mixed up coming out of my mouth and I can't remember the simplest of things. I really, really bothers me. I couldn't bear to have what my dad has as he is no longer able to care for himself at all and has lost all bodily functions. I'm afraid to even have it checked out. Guest guest
Jan, Please talk to your doctor about this. My sister was having the same types of problems and let her fear keep her from the doctor. When she finally went to the doctor (with big sister's threats of bodily harm), they found out her thyroid was low. After a few weeks on the thyroid meds, the memory problems cleared up. You problems may not be Alzheimer's or thyroid but they may be something simple to treat and correct. Pat At 10:57 AM 02/20/2001 -0500, you wrote: >Rainey Sue: I know what you mean about a fog. Guest guest
Pat: Thanks for the input. I did have my thyroid checked six months ago and it was normal. I really do need to see about this thing, I know. Jan
Guest guest
In addition to being alienating when we don't have a name to attach to someone's writing, it makes it really hard to remember the history of people's questions/issues/thoughts. It's just the way human memory works, we need a name to file you under in our brains. Everyone on here does. It's simply courteous to give us a name. Thank you, everyone. -- iodine protocol 13 months, energy great, work going great, fun going great, lost 25+ pounds At 12:19 PM 2/22/2011, you wrote: >Can those of you who are not signing your posts please start? It is so hard to respond to people not knowing their name or whether they are male or female. Personally I am not sure why anyone would want to "hide" and not share their name.
