Guest guest
It is not seven cases from the same village, as I wrote earlier. It is eleven and possibly 12. And besides the two who have died, another is very sick and on a respirator, all from in or around the city of Van. They are not all confirmed bird flu cases, so we have to wait to see how concerned to be. If they all turn out to be H5N1 infections, I am under the impression that this would a major change from anything we have seen elsewhere in terms of number of human infections in a small geographical area and time period. Can anyone confirm this?
