Hilda,

Howzit - I stay in the Durban area (Assagay - near Hillcrest). Where

about are you? I am also waiting for the new book but have learned

from others that you can now have cinnamon, gentian (herb) and apple

cider vinegar; whilst pinto beans are now to be avoided. Oatmeal is

neutral unless you want to lose weight - then it is to be avoided.

Dr Adamo highly recommends Gentian to a glass of water and to be

drank 20-30 minutes before a meal for blood type O's (for better

digestion). Unsure of any other changes.

> I have been on the eat right diet since the beginning of this year

and I will never go off it again! I went cold turkey on all the

avoids and it was tough to say the least. But as time goes on I am

learning and my menus are slowly expanding. I bought the cook right

book a few weeks ago and now I have some questions. The live right

book is not yet available in SA as far as I can figure out. Could

someone please help me with answer on the following:

> a.. Why is there differences between the lists in the eat right

book and cook right book, i.e. soya beans now neutral but oats now

avoid?

> b.. Why can I eat an apple, but I can't have apple juice?

> c.. Why is mozzarella and feta cheese allowed? Are they not also

dairy or are they suppose to be goat's cheese?

> d.. What is cilantro and how do I pronounce it? With a s or a

k? If it is a veg or herb, could someone give me the botanical name,

then I can try and trace it here. Maybe we just call it something

else.

> e.. My health shop is hunting for the live right book - are there

new changes to the lists again?

> Thanks for all the information I get from your emails. It is most

informative.

Well chumboods.... is this your name??? I doubt it! Anyway, I'm in

Pretoria! Which is why I went on the eat right diet in the first place - my

sinus problems were driving me up the wall. Wish I could stay where you

are.... would love to have a home in Ballito!

Hilda,

Have you started taking Bladderwrack? Dr D says it's excellent for

assisting weightloss in Group O's. Try the Health Shops in your

area. I believe the pill form is better than the liquid, but I

cannot find Bladderwrack pills here in Durbs.

Ciao.

Cook Right was written after Eat Right and more research had been done.

> b.. Why can I eat an apple, but I can't have apple juice?

There is too much concentratingedsugar in the juice, not in the fruit.

This is the leaf form of coriander.

changes to the lists again?

Yes, he learned more and put it into Live Right.

Thanks for all your answers! It helps a lot. Now can anybody tell me

about the cheese please?

Are feta and mozzarella suppose to be goat's cheese? If not, why are they

neutral and not avoid. I am desperate for pizza here - help someone!
