Hi Eva,

This is something that I struggled with when I started the diet, too. I

had been a vegetarian for a number of years and just did not like eating

meat. The nutritionist who recommended that I start the diet said that I

really needed to be consuming for animal protien and that vegetable

protiens (like beans & rice) would not be as easily absorbed and utilized

by my body. I asked if eating fish and eggs would suffice and she said

that she thought it would. I do also eat beans & rice at times as well as

tofu. My gut tells me that I would be better off eating more meat--but I

can't stand it, so I don't. I just try to eat as much fish as possible.

As for dairy products, for me personally, they are the worst for my system

to digest, so I avoid them like the plague.

Take care,
