Guest guest
Hi , Good post. It took me an hour and a half to get my H1N1 Swine Flu shot at the Health Dept today: the shot itself was free and took but a minute, but there were only four nurses giving the shots and too many people. I found no line outside. But there was a line inside. Most people saw the line and left. And after that, there was another line. The place was loaded with mothers with kids, often with baby carriages for two toddlers, and two other kids in tow. I told one of the staff that the newspapers had said that demand was down for the vaccine and that the health dept would be empty. She said that she had seen no drop in demand for the shot. I got home and took a long nap. It was a reaction not to the vaccine--which was fine--but to all the screaming kids.
Guest guest
Hello : I'm very happy that you were able to get your shot. You've had to wait far too long. Now if a third wave hits, you're protected. I hope " all " our group members can find vaccine soon. > > Hi , Good post. > > It took me an hour and a half to get my H1N1 Swine Flu shot at the Health Dept today: the shot itself was free and took but a minute, but there were only four nurses giving the shots and too many people. Guest guest
Hi , I saw enough people lined up for the shot that I agree with you that there is some fear of a January wave. But most people think that the pandemic is over for this year. Now we shall see how many nations are in the position of Germany: trying to donate their surplus vaccine abroad. Guest guest
HiAm i right in assuming this group is in favour of the swine flu vacine? www.simplytortoise.co.ukMerry Christmas everyone......From: christinabow <colleen@...>Flu Sent: Tue, 15 December, 2009 5:30:30Subject: [Flu] Shoppers can get swine flu vaccine at the mall (reposted) Note: (article follows) If the Health Departments want people to get vaccinated; they'd best have vaccine or shut up. Bah Humbug! Minnesota has be hanging on to the vaccine like it was "solid gold." If there is vaccine available to the "Minnesota" public, our State Health Department is doing "everything" in it's power to keep it a secret. Now and then, someplace will have a clinic for priority groups. For crying out loud; here we are close to Christmas. Canada has been vaccinated. Many people have forgotten about H1N1 or "given up" on trying to obtain a shot. For my sister's safety; I'd like to see her get vaccinated. She, like me, feels like telling them to take the vaccine and shove it. Yes, I am "extremely negative" because "too many" promises have been made about vaccine availability. (I'm very glad my doctor cared enough to see that I was vaccinated.) (Don: my sister doesn't fit into a priority group. She's overweight and would definitely be at high risk for complications. I tell her that she should change clinics. They are "by the book" only. She's waiting for Walgreens or another public clinic.) Associated Press 2:01 a.m. CST, December 12, 2009 CHICAGO - Cook County health officials are taking swine flu vaccine to where the holiday shoppers are -- the mall. Shoppers this Saturday at River Oaks Center in Calumet City will be able to get the vaccine. Four hundred tickets will be handed out starting at 10 a.m. People with tickets then will be asked to return to receive a vaccination at a designated time before 3 p.m. the same day. The clinic will be located in the lobby area of the mall's former movie theater. The vaccine will go to anyone older than 6 months of age -- not just people in high-risk groups. That's because vaccine supplies in Illinois have improved. Nearly 2.6 million doses of swine flu vaccine have been shipped to the state. http://www.chicagot ribune.com/ news/chi- ap-il-swineflu- vaccine,0, 4139310.story
Guest guest
In favor? You make it sound like a matter of opinion. The H1N1 pandemic seems to be ended for this year, at least in America. Tho it may become a problem next year. But if you think a pandemic is a matter of opinion, I recommend that you read the news accounts of people who died of, or were hospitalized by, or suffered illness because of H1N1. Vaccination is not a matter of opinion. It is society's best defense against disease. H1N1 was stopped in America because a large part of the population was vaccinated. Are you part of the anti-vaccination wing? Merry Christmas. > > Hi > Am i right in assuming this group is in favour of the swine flu vacine? > > > www.simplytortoise.co.uk > > Merry Christmas everyone...... Guest guest
>In favor? You make it sound like a matter of opinion.<I asked a polite question that was all, now you turn it into a matter of opinion >The H1N1 pandemic seems to be ended for this year, at least in America. <And the same in The UK, it is fizzling out world wide but governments around the world insist we need a vaccine for something that is mild for most people, despite the poisons in the vaccine that kill and can harm everyone. If the vaccine is safe, why do all the manufacturers insist they are immune from all deaths, injuries their vaccines cause? If its safe they should be able to stand by their product and be responsible for any problems their product causes.>Tho it may become a problem next year..< Until it does, i wont be putting poison in my body, do you know of the risks of squalene, aluminium etc ? >But if you think a pandemic is a matter of opinion,<When the World Health Organisation stopped testing for H1N1, every cough, sniffle, cold and flu was recorded as H1N1 to make it sound like it is a pandemic. My daughter was diagnosed by a teenager over the phone for H1N1, she had a cold.Lumping all colds, flues etc around the world as H1N1 is a fact not opinion. If you cannot see H1N1 is grossly exaggerated, then you should read when WHO stopped testing for H1N1 for yourself. If it isn't counted properly, the outcome isn't a true figure either, pure guesswork at best.> I recommend that you read the news accounts of people who died of, or were hospitalised by, or suffered illness because of H1N1.<I do daily and all the people that died had underlying health conditions as well which caused their deaths.Have you read of the millions of people that got over it without dying? Why need a poisonous vaccine if we have natural immunity? I caught H1N1 from my daughter, i am still here and without a vaccine. >Vaccination is not a matter of opinion. <Every subject is a matter of opinion, people can be for something, against something or neutral including vaccination.>It is society's best defence against disease.<Good hygiene and good nutrition is the best defence against disease which is why many diseases have been eradicated. The sickest country in the world is US because more vaccines are given than any other country.More money is spent also by US to combat this problem as well. Poor hygiene and poor nutrition such as in the trenches in World War 1 created bird flu. H1N1 was stopped in America because a large part of the population was vaccinated. Many other countries populations are refusing the vaccines, these countries are trying to find a buyer for these vaccines and the H1N1 virus is disappearing fast in those countries. How do you explain the majority of people refusing vaccination and H1H1 still decreasing? >Are you part of the anti-vaccination wing?<Are you part of the pro-vaccination wing?I t is your choice to put poison in your body, if/when you realise this rushed virtually untested 'vaccine' can suppress your immune system making you more susceptible to other illnesses. How do you explain the vaccine isn't tested on pregnant women but is the first group of people to be vaccinated with no knowledge of the outcome to either the mother or child? I can show you link after link of babies that died inside their mothers within days of the vaccine, just another co-incidence again and again? Baxter's the manufacturer has seriously messed up many times recently and is about to be prosecuted for genocide and you still trust the vaccines? I would rather trust a drug dealer than Baxter's. One more thing, why are all the laws recently made in US for mandatory vaccination? If it was so good, laws would not be made to force Jo Bloggs to take it? Remember the sales pitch of 'we have enough vaccines for every man, woman and child, now they are trying another approach of scarcity to get people to rush for their jabs before they run out because people didn't want the vaccines in the first place. I just hope you don't end up with dying or paralysis or immune problems. This is why i care enough to discuss vaccinations.Just look up what happened with the last swine flu epidemic in 1976, more people were killed by the vaccine than swine flu.Your government lied to play it down then, they will do the same again today.Dont be their guinea pigs!www.simplytortoise.co.ukMerry Christmas everyone......From: rumjal <rumjal@...>Flu Sent: Thu, 17 December, 2009 9:57:43Subject: [Flu] Re: Shoppers can get swine flu vaccine at the mall (reposted) In favor? Guest guest
Ah yes, another pop medicine fanatic who intends to endanger those who have immunity problems. I suggest that you go to our site files to read the contents of our Pop Medicine file. The only other point is to inquire whether you will be polite or need to be banned from this group? despite the poisons in the vaccine that kill and can harm everyone. Guest guest
Please show me proof that Baxters the manufacturers are not on charges for genocide.Show where squalene is good to be injected in your body, Squalene is used because its one of the most poisonous substances on earth and it kills off all potential germs in a vaccine. Show me where aluminium is good for the body. All of my points on the previous email are true and you simply fail to back them up>The only other point is to inquire whether you will be polite or need to be banned from this group?<I have been polite and why would i need to be banned from this group? Is it because i have an opinion different to yours that i need to be banned? I call this healthy discussion but if you arent able to back up your discussion, well then i understand why you would want to ban me. www.simplytortoise.co.ukMerry Christmas everyone......From: rumjal <rumjal@...>Flu Sent: Thu, 17 December, 2009 22:09:13Subject: [Flu] Re: Shoppers can get swine flu vaccine at the mall (reposted) Ah yes, another pop medicine fanatic who intends to endanger those who have immunity problems. Guest guest
I have no idea what your first sentence means so I can't answer it. Squalene's purpose is to stimulate the immune system and increase the response to the vaccine, and in that way is good for you. Extensive testing has proved it not to be harmful. In fact, Squalene is a normal part of the human body, made in the liver and circulating in the blood, and is also found in many foods, such as eggs and olive oil. Furthermore, if you ever had doubts they should be dissolved by now since tens of millions of people have been vaccinated with virtually no negative side effects. This information would calm a normal rational person's fears. Do you suspect that there is a plot to wipe out the population of the world and that the pharmaceutical companies are complicit in that plot? I hope that you consider getting some professional help if that is the case. At the minimum, think it through. How many people, professionals of all stripes, would have to be a part of the conspiracy with not a single one of them blowing the whistle? Thousands! And each and every one of them would have to be insane. What are the odds? > despite the poisons in the vaccine that kill and can harm everyone. >
