Guest guest
Hi, Well, what about decaffinated coffee or cappucino? Is that ok? Yesterday I had an italian sandwich with grilled chicken in it and red sauce and it made me so ill.I do not know if it was the oil, the bread, the peppers or just the whole thing. When you are with a groupout for lunch, it's hard to say, not, let's not go threr because I am on an " O " diet. Guest guest
I have a hard time with sandwiches too. There are almost always alternatives though. Guest guest
Dear Bibi, Hi I,m Rochelle. I've been on the O diet for 4 weeks now and my son noticed that I've already got my lists memorized. Guess I'm a bit obsessive. According to the book coffee is on the avoid list...decaf as well as regular. As to the Italian Sandwich....Peppers are a nuetral, but maybe they don't agree with you...wheat is a the biggest no-no and who knows what was in the sauce? Eating out is hard. I went to Denny's with friends last night and ended up having a burger without the bread and a salad. Those fries were a bit hard to pass up but I felt good about. Hope this was of some help to you, Rochelle
Guest guest
Hi, If you love sandwiches, then instead putting bread on top of the meat, use lettuce leaves. There's another one I don't tolerate very well -- Ezekial bread (though it's listed as HB). Not as bad as the kamut, though! I still have about 1/2 a loaf in the freezer, going to try it again in a couple of months. Cia
