The directions were to consume 3-4 oz. up to three times a day. I enjoyed the flavor, and do feel pretty good this week, but I wouldn't venture to say that the tea is the cause. I would be interested in making my own, but wanted to make sure I enjoyed the taste before I learn how to do it at home. I'll let you know the brand next time I go to Whole Foods. Theresa Hi Theresa. I did alot of kombucha for about six months, which I made by self at home, and never noticed any benefit. I did get a tiny bit of a lift in energy, but when I did a plain cup of green tea I got the same boost just from the caffiene. And when I stopped doing kombucha I had caffiene withdrawal headaches for about three days. I enjoy the flavor and believed it was a good thing to do, but didn't notice anything good from it. And usually I notice alot, either good or bad. I seem to be a hyper responder and so not responding at all is unusal.
