Guest guest
<<I'm sure your right, Suze. I'm not a dog owner (yet) but when the time comes I do hope to raise a pup on all raw meat, bones, and lacto-fermented bits if I can afford it. Is trich only a problem in pork?>> I've been feeding raw for about 5 years and all are first gen raw fed. Research shows that it takes several generations (about 4) to return to optimal health. This of course has a lot of wiggle room in it and needs to be taken to a pet health group for discussion. Mine are also minimally vaccinated. Where would my pet get lacto fermented bits?? Interesting idea. I do give yogurt but it is not something any pet would ever come across. Kathy A Oregon

Its really a moot point since my pets all like yogurt but to be clear wolves, do not eat the stomach and apparently only eat the intestines when pressed for food and they take these and shake the " food " out and eat what is leftover. Ok... didn't know. Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
