Guest guest
By the way, I don't remember if I mentioned this or not... Last summer I had two root canals. I finished one with a titanium post, didn't have the money for the other. So I have a big hole in my tooth down to the bottom where the root is, but with a temporary calcium-based filling in it. After a whiel, the filling wore away. After so much, it completely wore away, and there was *constantly* food stuck in it, which I had to scrape out with a toothpick after I ate, but I never got it fully clean. Now of course this is all after I started " doing NT " . I kept procrastinating getting the termporary filling in because I am an idiot. After I forgot how long, I went to the dentist. He asked how long it was like that (that is, with the temp filling completely worn away). I couldn't remember so I said a month. He checked the tooth and was amazed to find it was hard inside. He told me if anyone else went a month with the temp filling worn away the inside would turn to mush and the whole tooth would collapse. He had no idea why that didn't happen to me. Well guess what. When I went home, I realized it had been THREE months since it had worn away. Guess this diet *is* doing something to strengthen my teeth! Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
