I am just scared that I will end up in a serious amount of pain and would end up getting my gallbladder removed. Did you experience any pain? The one I read about was using olive oil, lemon juice and something else that I can't recall right now. Thanks, B. Hi Bella. No, I have never had any pain from any flush I have done. I have a friend who has done seven and passed some stones as big as a small walnut and she had no pain. The basic one I did was the Hulda cleanse. Found all over the net. Basically you don't eat any fat the day of the cleanse. And you fast after 2 in the afternoon, I believe, and then you take epsom salts at 6 in the evening and again at 8 and then at ten you drink the olive oil and lemon juice. Then in the morning you do epsom salts twice again. For some people, they don't pass stones the first time. You can wait two weeks and do it again. I am not a doctor, but common sense tells me you don't want to do it when you have current gall bladder pain. If it was me and I was anxious to do it, I would do some laxatives, like prunes or whatever would clean the bowel without irritating it. I would do this and probiotics until the pain stopped. Usually worked for me. And then, after being pain free for a few days, I would do a flush. Wouldn't do one with pain. I also did super phos by Standard process for a week before doing the flush and did a glass of raw apple juice a day before the flush. These are supposed to soften the stones. Don't know if it does, but I thought I would do it just in case it was effective. I get the superphos from at jjnovell@... Hope some of this helps.
