Guest guest
“I wonder how many women abort babies because of exposure to toxic chemicals? Are there any figures on this? I wonder if right to life fanatics would mind if women eliminated unwanted pregnancies by taking jobs in toxic workplaces?” I find these questions very interesting. IMO, no one should abort a baby for ANY reason. I am a “right to life fanatic” I guess. My belief is that because we cannot BE another person and see things through their eyes with their experiences and knowledge, we cannot decide for someone else whether their life is a “quality” life. Wish I had a source to site for this next point. I saw an interview with Burke, the actor with Down’s Syndrome who played Corky on Life Goes On. Extraordinary young man imho. He said something to this effect when asked if his disability bothers him: I don’t see it as a handicap, a disability. I have never known another life so don’t feel sorry for me. I have a happy life and I am blessed. Would that we all could have such an attitude! Chemicals are horrible. Having porphyria, I have more problems with them than most people. I wish we could take back our tech advances and redo them more naturally. It really is not worth the damage we have done. Now a chemical attack in Iraq! May God have mercy on our soldiers and the Iraqi people. I am profoundly sad at the state of the world. Panflu is scheduled to change the world as we know it pretty doggone quick! Get prepped today! Blessings! Tamarin
