I have done it many times over a period of several years. The worst that

has happened to me is that I didn't feel well *before* actually taking the

olive oil and pink grapefruit juice, and I halted the procedure until

another time when I could do it and feel okay. In other words, the simple

eating and fasting the day of the flush made me ill (I had other physical

problems which made fasting and a no protein diet tricky).

What is ornithine? will any sleeping pills work? are they really

necessary?

Here is a good motto to keep in mind: * " If all else fails, follow

directions. " * If you don't get what I mean, I mean simply FOLLOW

DIRECTIONS. If substitutions were as good as the formula, they are either

untested or they would be listed. Ornithine is (I believe) an amino acid

which helps the body to get rid of the wastes from dead and dying parasites

(ammonia) and other toxins that may come from your liver when you flush. My

impression from reading is that when these toxins are present in the

blood circulating, they are irritating and can keep you awake.

YES!

magnesium sulfate = epsom salts

Magnesium sulfate is chemical name for epsom salts.

Magnesium sulfate is just another name for the same thing.

How important is it to do a liver flush before the actual gallstone

flush? I did read a couple of pages on this and wondering if anyone

had done the liver flush first. As I said before I am scared of

getting a bad gallstone attack and ending up in the ER. From what I

read only very few people experience pain like this but knowing my

luck. Thanks the replies I received. B.

,

I suggest that the first thing you need to do is look at your diet. There are

ways of controlling weight without consuming saturated fats. A book by Holford

(Low GL diet) or the Rosendale diet will explain it to you.

There is no sense in cleansing the liver/no gallbladder if you are going to

contnue the insults with saturated fats from Atkins.

You may want to take some straight vinegar (diluted 1: with water) AFTER your

meals to see if your stomach acidity is low. The symptoms are the same as high

acidity and many MD confuse them. If you feel better you amay be low. If you get

relief , take 1-3 tablets of Betaine Hydrochloride AFTER your meals. If it gets

worse, take 1/4 potassium bicarbonate after meals.

Take digestive enzymes (2-3) BEFORE your meals and check the overall response.

gallbladder flush

Hi to all,

I'm new to the group and have a question. I have been suffering from

severe acid reflux(or so the doctors have diagnosed me) for about 2

years now. I had my GB removed in 2000 but continued to do the Atkins

diet which is VERY fat laden. I feel that I still have stones and have

a system full of fat. I'd like to try the gb flush but do not have the

recipe. Plus need to know if it is safe.

Thanks,
