When will a pandemic occur?

I realise that its very hard to make these forcasts, but when do people

here predict that there will be a pandemic? Within the next year? Two

years? Five?

The last time I looked at the Polls here there was not a question that

was up to date in regard to this. I think the lastest date had come

and gone.

I, for one, do think that we will see a pandemic at some point in my

life time. But I am not sure when. Perhaps the H5N1 will go no

where. Apparently they are making great strides in a vaccine, so maybe

its effect will be minimized.

But I would love to know what the consensus is in terms of when a

pandemic is predicted.
