Hi Sheila,

I have CFS, which is thought to be closely related to fibromyalgia.

I don't understand why he wants her to stop eating red meat. So

many people with CFS and FM are deficient in B vitamins and meat

would be one of the best sources of it.

The treatment for CFS and FM might be a little different, but as far

as I know, it's all experimental, so she might be wise to look

carefully into the expensive meds. Some are helpful, others can be

risky.

There is a very large group devoted to treatment options for

people with CFS and FM. Over 900 members.

This is their links page, with links to several treatment options.

Here is their home page

Hope this helps,

Laurie

And her doctor's recommending she drop all red meat? I suppose she'll just have

to survive on lots of carbohydrates, eh...guess she can put all the money she'll

save towards her new meds.

Sounds like utter nonesense to me.
