Guest guest
Hey folks, Just picked up a book that might give me a clue as to why my gums are so extraordinarily inflamed. It's called " Elements of Danger " by Dr. Morton (I *think* that's his name). I didn't have this problem before my dental treatment, but after many cavity fillings with the ceramic fillings and two root canals, next time they check me, year and a half after initially detecting my dental problems, I have periodontitis, pretty extremely. Well this book has a chapter " Death Stalks Your Gums From Root Canals. " Maybe that's the relation. Some of you might be familiar with Weston Price's research on root canals. If not, PPNF has an article on Meinig's book on it. Anyway, I realized a week ago or so in retrospect that my eczema started WITHIN A WEEK of my root canal last year!!! That's the *exact* same time I came down with chronic conjunctivitis for months which I finally beat off with massive amounts of coconut oil! And that's probably the same time my periodontitis started too. I'm getting pretty sure my eczema is related to my root canals. I wonder if a) the suprression of my immune system from the mutated bacteria in my dead tooth suppressed my gut flora causing a candida overgrowth or my eczema simply isn't candida-related and is related to these harmful bacteria from my teeth. For those experienced with candida, does this sound like candida?: -- I had a yellowish coating on my tongue, pretty apparent without a flash light -- I had major digestive problems before I started doing NT, and now they are under control but flare up a little (nothing compared to before) if I go a length of time with no lacto-fermented foods -- I never crave sugar. However, if it is in the house, I sometimes eat it out of bordom. If I start eating ice cream, I often can't stop. HOWEVER, if I eat NT-approved sweets this does *not* have this effect, and I'm satisfied with the portion I choose. Note: I *never* eat ice cream from a carb craving, but only because it's there and I'm bored. If there is no ice cream in the house, I have no craving for it. -- The last time I took antibiotics was when I was 10 or 11. I did have athlete's foot around this time, give or take. I haven't had any apparent symtpoms of fungal infections since then, that is, for the last ten years, until my eczema started after my root canal at the end of last summer. -- Someone mentioned dandruff. I've had dandruff as long as I can remember. --I feel *great* when I eat my carbs as mushrooms. If I have enough fat, I can last for hours on mushrooms with no source of protein. -- I use antibacterial soap at work on my hands and arms, which is where I have eczema. However, I've been using this at this job for 3 1/2 years and have only had eczema for 9 months. -- My eczema stayed moderate for 6 months but broke out horrendously this year. This coincided with a severe declination in my intake of lacto-fermented foods, and also with my slacking on the coconut oil for months. The main worsening, however, came within days of wearing big rubber gloves, which I though would help, but more or less immediately spread the eczema to exactly where the glove is. Still, I broke out with eczema a month ago by my elbows, which I can see no topical reason for. -- I don't notice other rashes or apparent fungal problems in other parts of my body, although before I started this candida protocol my ear was flaking a little bit and went away when I started the program for the most part. Thanks if anyone has advice or thoughts! Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
