Guest guest
Went to the dentist today. Didn't get x-rays so don't know if I have cavities or not. But I have some 6mm spots in my gums which is apparently very excessive. The RDH said he sees this sometimes with college students because of excessive stress, but the doctor said that it is very unlikely to be completely gum inflammation and could be generalized bone loss. Doesn't sound good. I looked this up and *think* this is called pyorrhea, though maybe that's something different. The doc put me on a fluoride rinse. Dont' know whether I should do it. I have to do _something_ about it. Please let me know if anyone knows alternative therapies for this or anything about it. Also, I am a bit hyper-thyroid so would it be dangerous for me to take fluoride? I obviously don't have to worry about a depressed thyroid. Chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong.
