Guest guest Posted May 17, 2006 Report Share Posted May 17, 2006 WHO Confirms Six Indonesian Bird Flu Deaths; Total Reaches 30 May 17 (Bloomberg) -- The World Health Organization confirmed six Indonesians, including five who died this month, were infected with H5N1 bird flu. The deaths bring the total number of human H5N1 fatalities in Indonesia to 30, among 39 confirmed infections, WHO spokeswoman Sari said in a telephone interview today. Five of the fatalities came from one family group in North Sumatra province that attended a family reunion feast.
