Yogurt milk and ...

I tried to make some yogurt yesterday, but it turned out to be yogurt

milk. I heated the milk to just before boil, let it cool for a little

bit and added the yogurt culture. I then poured it into glass jars and

sat them in my oven on warm over night, but all I got was yogurt milk.

Last week my butter failed, this week it's the yogurt. <sigh>

I did have success with the punch recipe in NT though. I really liked

it! I plan on trying the ginger ale next. I've also found bottle

conditioned beer in the grocery store and have enjoyed that. I think I

could easily turn into a beer drinker, but I need to watch my carbs, if

I want to get this weight off since having the baby.

BTW, someone asked about the coconut oil that Radiant Life sells. It is

excellent!! I love eating it off the spoon. I bought it and the other

ingredients to make the baby formula from them. Seth really likes that

NT formula, unfortunately he's almost to the point that he prefers it

over me. He's 2 1/2 mo. old and already over 18 lbs. He definitely is

one of those fat babies that Sally talks about...very solid!

I've also discovered lamb...yummy! I could eat it everyday. We drove

out to the farm we've been getting our milk from and they have a nice

little self serve store. I found out I can get my grass-fed beef there

cheaper than the last place we bought it. I bought a few steak to try,

because I didn't like the flavor of the last side of beef we bought. Is

grass fed-beef suppose to have a funny taste compared to grain fed beef?

Be well,

Robin
