Guest guest
you could be eating for your type and show alkaline urine but still be acidic. ~If your urine PH was 7.5 or 8.0 you would think well gee I'm really alkaline I must be doing good.... HOwever, even though your urine would be alkaline because of the ammonia acid salt... the ammonia acid salt would actually be there in the first place because of the excess protein/acid ash etc. As I mentioned in my previous post... lots of biochem here there are no easy answers jen " And we have made of ourselves living cesspools, and driven doctors to invent names for our diseases. The ranges of acid/alkaline that have been found in over 40 years of research to specific type, and the variables of reading high/low dependant upon your type. These same high/low ranges are applicable to any medical test. Example: persons A, B and C all are tested for osteoporosis. Person A falls midrange, person B is high, person C is low. All are in the acceptable range so a supplement is given with calcium/magnesium. Person A improves, a mixed type. Persons B, protein type & C, carbo type (am not sure I have these high/lows to type) either experience no change or get worse. Due to body type natural homeostatic controls B, protein is balanced with the calcium but the the magnesium imbalances the homeostatic system. C, carbo the opposite. What I find fascinating is that internal organ shapes and sizes are varied and not standard in all humans. The naturalness to our true, genetic or ancestral body vs. the alterations done by modern food and environment is a question. I don't know my blood ph but I do know how I feel when I eat the right amount of protein/fat/carbs for me. I'm hunger free (one of the first signs was when I did get hungry it was a different hunger than I'd experienced in more years than I can remember), have good digestion, a clear mind and energy for 4 hours. Aches and pains after hard work are no where close to what they were and I'm more limber. This all tells me that my former SAD with carbohydrate adjustments only diets likely acidified my blood. Don't feel the need to know. Blows blood type A, best as vegetarians out of the water too. Wanita
