Guest guest
Hi lisbeth - Welcome back! So nice to see your name on the list again. Gosh your house must be really sparkling! Re Kylas question about rib pain. The ribs and bits between hurt if you press with your finger tips. Where I find it hard to tell is when I get pain on the inside under the rib, like wind pain, but usually find by the pressure test that those ribs are more sensitive. I recently had a sore back and discovered that my lower ribs in my back had flared up from wearing an elastic waist band on my trousers which was too tight. >As for the Plueritis, I've had the same problem trying to determine if I had >Plueritis or pericarditis. Guest guest
Do any of you experience pain in the ribs on your right side along with the gb pain? Joan
Guest guest
Joan, Yes, me! I thought I might have pulled something, cause the rib pain happened a few days before the first gb attack. Where do you mean exactly? On your side, or below your breastbone? Guest guest
It is at the bottom of the rib cage on the R side near where the GB is. Guest guest
I have the same problem. I get it on my right side rib, at the bottom - where my waist is. It is on and off. > > > > Do any of you experience pain in the ribs on your right side along > > with the gb pain? > > > > Joan > > > > Collected testimonials: > > http:///messages/gallstones-testimonials > > You are receiving this email because you elected to subscribe to the gallstonesegroups To unsubscribe: Mailto:gallstones-unsubscribeegroups > > To subscribe again: Mailto:gallstones-subscribeegroups > > To change status to digest: Mailto:gallstones-digestegroups > > To change status to normal: Mailto;gallstones-normalegroups > > By joining the list you agree to hold yourself FULLY responsible FOR yourself! > > List Archives: http:///messages/gallstones > > Web Sites: http://home.online.no/~dusan/gallstones/ > > Have a nice day ! Guest guest
Well, my initial pain was on my right side, halfway between my underarm and my waist -- (actually exactly in a straight line across from my gb). That's why I thought I'd pulled something or slept funny. And the pain does radiate to my waist (seems like all the nerves are interconnected). Then 3 or 4 days later is when I ate the sausages and the next morning my gb itself really hurt. Then my upper right chest started to hurt really bad when I'd try to bend over. Now I can bend over almost all the way before I feel the pressure. But I still wake up with pain on the right side under my entire right ribcage (at night when I first lie down I feel it on my right shoulder blade). Today I've been trying to take a deep breath and I still can't do it without some pain. My question is, do you think that initial pain on my right side was the first signs of a gb problem or do you think I might have just pulled something and it was just a coincidence? When I saw the doctor she didn't say anything when I told her I'd somehow " hurt " my ribcage. wrote: > > I have the same problem. I get it on my right side rib, at the > bottom - where my waist is. Guest guest
I've had this pain before. Hurts like the dickens - but it will pass - just another one of those fun things we get to endure. I did nothing special to make it go away - I've discovered over the years that all these things come and go.
